What to Expect
- It’s a Halloween-themed 5K run/walk, fun for all ages and abilities. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes.
- The first 100 registered runners will receive a reflective knit beanie.
- After the run/walk finish, there is a post-race celebration with music, food (available for purchase), photo-ops, and awards for the best costumes (categories: kids, adults, group).

- August 19, 2011"The park's website said they were open until 7pm, but at 4pm, the gate was locked. Although we did not have to pay we had to walk from the main entrance and that was a long walk for the preschoolers with us. The hiking trails were beautiful we will be back for more walks but the beachswimming area was very rocky, muddy, and full of weeds. So if you are going for a walk and a picnic or to sunbathe this is a great park but save your swimming adventures for another park."- Twosons
- August 31, 2009"We hike Red Rocks with the kids and the dog a few times a year. It has great shady areas plus beautiful scenic views of the lake. All of the paths loop back around into each other making it easy to choose a long or short enough walk that is just right for your family."- missmagpie

The scenery is beautiful and the trails are wide enough and smooth enough for a jogger stroller."- hten
