What has become an annual holiday tradition in Middlebury, the Midd-Vermont Train Club’s elaborate electric train layout is sure to delight all ages. Over the years, the assemblage has grown and now stands 3 levels high, with two tracks running Lionel O gauge trains and the upper track running HO trains. The backdrop of the Green Mountains painted by local artist Gayl Braisted adds atmosphere.

New last year — an entire remake of the mountain including gondola ski lift, skiers, rock climbers, and tunnels through the mountain to show off the HO train. Popular Gabe the Lamplighter will be back this year. Push the button and watch Gabe climb the tower and turn on the floodlights!  Come this year to see what’s new!
