A Critical Mass is a form of direct action where a group of bicyclists gather and take over the roads as a call for safer streets. Now, those Critical Mass riders have grown up and had kids of their own. The Kidical Mass is the next step - a call to families to celebrate our safe routes, and show the joys of choosing active transportation!

Join Local Motion and Dad Guild for a group bike ride, walk, roll or stroll. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Route heads south to Oakledge Park, where we will stop for fun in the sun! We'll bring a little craft. BYO snack for a picnic.

Want a little more activity? Head over to Petra Cliffs! Kidical Mass participants will receive 20% off day passes.

Need a bike to participate? Discounted rentals are available through Local Motion. Contact val@localmotion.org for details.

"Very convenient if you want to rent and ride from the downtown bike path. But they have limited rental inventory. I called to reserve a trailabike and was told there were plenty and no need to reserve. Arrived 45 minutes later only to find out they had none. Not too accommodating when presented with the issue either. Also, their pricing is higher than other local shops."
