"Cute place to take children during winter timespring season to learn about maple sugaring. Little walk and tour, with samples. Great for early educators to take their students"

"This is our second year getting our Christmas tree at Isham Family Farm. The staff was incredibly helpful and warm as was their small warming hut with free hot cocoa and candy canes. They had goodies available for purchase like maple products and cookies, and a small selection of Vermonty gift items. The cutyourown tree selection was a little sparse it looks like they are growing a large amount of new trees for the future but we were just as happy to buy a precut tree which is beautifully shaped and healthy. "We loved our visit here. The Isham family was super friendly and helpful. We had a great time cutting our own tree, drinking hot chocolate and eating cookies with our six year old. I believe we've found our VT family tradition."

"We stopped by just to see where the farm was and ended up staying for quite a while. My 14 month old LOVED the baby cows, she spent the whole time petting them. Mike came right over to greet us when we got there and was very friendly. I was surprised that we were the only ones there but it was late in the afternoon on a cold cloudy day. We will definitely be back for the pumpkin patch, which Mike told us is open the first week of October, and to visit Hershey and Oreo the calfs."

"Beautiful spot, but not what we expected for pumpkin picking. There are no facilities, no amenities and no cider or other refreshments. A little disappointing if that's what you are expecting, and I'm not sure how they host school trips without a bathroom, but I'm glad we checked it out."

"Took our two year old here yesterday and she had a blast. She ate more blueberries than we could imagine and enjoyed the chickens and visiting the calf. We really enjoyed the sunflower maze too. We will be back!"

"We love berry picking here so much, we've never been anywhere else. The abundant berry bushes are a good distance back from the main road, so you don't have to worry about your little ones running around. Michael Isham usually stops by when we're there to say hi and tell us what's going on around the farm. My 3 year old LOVES sitting at the chicken tractor and chasing the chickens. She also enjoys sampling the berries, which Mr. Isham told us were not sprayed with any pesticides. It's one of the places that makes you really appreciate living in Vermont."

"Visited today with my husband and 2year old. The blueberries are delicious and there are a ton of them. The calf and chickens delighted my son. Mr. Isham was kind enough to show us his newly renovated barn fantastic!"

"I visited Isham's with my two young children for the first time last weekend. Here is what I noticed my children could run up and down the paths of blueberries without me worrying about where they were or if they were bothering other people. I also noticed the beautiful views, the easy going conversation with Mike Isham, the new baby cows, and chickens running around more fun for the kids!. We already have plans to return this fall for the hay rides and pumpkin picking! See you there!"

"We just returned home from blueberry picking. We had such a wonderful time! Even on a Saturday afternoon we had the place nearly to ourselves so our 3yearold was free to run around and explore. It was so relaxing. I prefered this experience over any of the busier fields because we were able to go at our own pace and take breaks as we pleased to greet the chickens and the cows or walk through the sunflower maze to see the scarecrow. We will definitely go back in September to pick some raspberries!"

"We've been twice this season, once for the raspberries and later for blueberries. Wonderful experience. My kids even got to enter a contest to name the baby cows! We will definitely be going again next year."

"I took my kids and a friend blueberry picking at Isham's this afternoon. What a wonderful family run farm. While we were out in picking in the bushes, Mike Isham stopped by on his tractor to chat a while. He told us about the 4 different varieties of berries currently growing there. Later on he met us up by the sugar shack and let the kids feed the new calves. He explained there is a naming contest going on. Best name for blackie and brownie win a free pumpkin in the fall. There are chickens running in between the berry bushes. I think my daughter spent more time trying to catch one then she did picking blueberries. We were able to still get almost a full quart of raspberries. Although there will be more come September. Prices are 5quart or 3pint and it is done by the honor system. Cash only leave it in the jar please."

"What we loved the most about this quaint sugar house was meeting and talking to the 3 generations of family members. They are so welcoming and their passion for this Vermont custom is evident with their eagerness to tell their story of how it all works and their history with the treesland. They offer visitors a free sample and if you ask, Ginger the Isham Matriarch will sing some of the family's songs to the little ones. What a treat."
