Milton Community Fun Run – in COLOR

When: Sunday May 4th at 11am

Where: Bombardier Park West - Milton, VT

Why: To raise money for Milton Elementary/Middle School Field trips & Student Enrichment

More Helpful information

You don't need to be a runner - The Milton Community Fun Run - in COLOR is a beginner's dream: it's not timed, families and children are welcome, and there will also be many walkers. The course is a one-mile loop, so you choose your race, 1 mile, 2 mile or a full 5k!

Bring Donations! If you have additional donations, you may bring them to the Registration table.

The earlier, the better - With more than 500 participants, it is best to arrive early and enjoy all we have to offer before the race even begins! Registration opens at 10:00am near the stage.

Bring a towel - You will need a towel to sit on in the car after the race.

Bring money$ - We have some awesome raffle prizes. Additional color packets and other merchandise will be for sale and food concessions will also be available.

Bring a buddy - This is definitely a fun run with lots of teams, groups of friends, and families. Adding to the social feel of the Milton Community Fun Run - in COLOR, the finish-line celebrations consist of a huge dance party and a Color Blast. Because of the party element and the absence of a timed race, it's one event that is better enjoyed with friends.

Save your color packet until the end! While you may be tempted to bust open the color powder you purchased or received at the finish line, save it for the finish! You'll have plenty of opportunities to be doused in color by volunteers during the run. More importantly, you'll later be left out of the fun if you're without a color packet when everyone lets their color out during the Color Blast!

The cleanup – The colored powder is only colored cornstarch, but there is still a slight chance it can stain. Don’t wear anything that you'll be upset to lose. While the colored powder will most likely come out in the wash, there's a slight chance it won't depending on how much it has set. Use cold water when washing!
