It's the most wonderful time of the year. The snow is falling, the lifts are spinning, and the spirits are jolly. The Village is decorated with lights, and the schedule is decked with events. While out and about, be sure to check out the full schedule of events for all ages.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31

Lifts open at 8:30am - 4pm
New Years Eve Family Buffet enjoy a chef inspired dinner featuring local Vermont dishes; cash bar. 5:30pm - 8pm.
New Years Eve Fireworks Hike kids must be 12 years old. Finish in the courtyard with fire and hot chocolate.7pm-10:30pm.
New Years Eve Silent Disco -14 and over - control your own music through five channels of groovy hits through the decades, at the Sun Bowl base lodge 10pm - 12:30am
Grizzly's NYE Party - 21+ Ring in the New Year at Grizzly's with live music, an exceptional view of the fireworks, and countdown to midnight with complimentary champagne toast. 21 and up only. 8pm - 1am.
Fireworks in the main base area - FREE - 8:30pm

"I felt it was expensive for the size mountain it is. It is larger than anything around it but small in comparison to mountains further north. If you can find a deal on tickets, I recommend using the Sunbowl lodge which seems less busy than the other two. The slopes were well skied off and icy. The ice castle experience wasn't worth forking out the fee for me. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are some pretty good dining options. "
