  "There is ample terrain for all levels. I have skied other resorts this year and it made me appreciate just how good the snow surfaces are. The staff is friendly and helpful. The lift operators are some of the best I have encountered. "

  "Sugarbush has always been a favorite in my family, but this is the first year I skied there with my young kids. We loved it for a variety of reasons, starting with the terrain, which is great for all levels of skiing. Also, Sugarbush has been so smart with their lodge bag rooms ensure that the main seating area stays clutterfree and easy to navigate I don't understand why all the mountains don't do this!. We stayed two nights at Clay Brook, which I likewise highly recommend. Our room was incredibly comfortable and attractive and all rooms have full kitchens. The amenities really make Clay Brook stand out a ski valet to store your skis or boards mountainside, a boot check to keep your snow boots while you ski and your ski boots overnight, heated underground parking to keep your car ice and snowfree. Clay Brook keeps selfserve coffee and tea right by the mountainside door at all times, and brings out trays of cookies now and then, which my kids loved. Their favorite part, though, was definitely the heated yearround outdoor pool and hot tubs. It's a novelty to sit and soak comfortably while watching the skiers and riders walk by!"

  "Sugarbush is the perfect mountain! It has so much variety plenty of steeps, bumps, groomers, woods. A great place to learn, and anyone will be challenged if they want to be! Win Smith the owner is a regular presence accessible. Best of all they are usually the last mountain to close in the spring ... you really get your moneys worth with your seasons pass. I've skied at EVERY Vermont mountain and had season passes at Stowe, Smuggs, Bolton. IMO Sugarbush is by far the best."

  "We skied Sugarbush last year with family from North Carolina and had a wonderful experience. We loved the Slide Brook chair connecting Mt. Ellen and Lincoln Peak and the terrain was great for the beginners in the group and the advanced skiers. Another great bonus kids under 6 ski for free so it was perfect for the young kids starting out! We look forward to skiing there again soon!"

  "My first and only visit to Sugarbush, two Winter's ago Jan 2009 was enjoyable despite it being one of the coldest days of the year. The staff was very friendly and approachable. The food and beer was good. The trails were maintained well despite the frigid air and lack of new snow."

  "I echo Miss Magpie's review... our kids were in the same program, and we also migrated from Bolton. BV is a great family mountain, but we all enjoyed the increased scale and terrain at Sugarbush. It is a highlycustomeroriented organization and overall worldclass facility. Our kids loved the variety and challenge that the trails and woods offer, and so did my wife and I. We'll be back next season! "

  "After five seasons with the kids in the Ridge Runners program at Bolton, we spent the 20092010 season at Sugarbush. There are a lot of things to love about Sugarbush. While the majority of our time was spent skiingriding Lincoln Peak, the kids program occasionally took them over to Mt. Ellen. Our two kids were in an all day Blazerlike ski program from 1000330 for sixteen Saturdays throughout the season. Lincoln Peak is great. There is terrain for everyone. Even the beginner hillbunny hill has options. You can graduate from the nice long magic carpet to the double chairlift for an easypeasy run down. The rest of the mountain provides tons of choices for skiersboarders of all levels. And with the midmountain lifts you don't have to go all the way to the top if you don't want to. There are 3 choices for dinning Timbers upscalish, but you can still wear you ski garb, The Castlerock Pub good for lunch and apres ski and the Food Court. All have outdoor seating. The deck off the Food Court has an outdoor firepit plus a large tube which the kids can play in while you have a beverage. Oh and of course there is a waffle house! Little touches we loved The Sherpas waiting to help you carry your gear from the parking lot to the lodge or vice versa. The free hot apple cider that magically appears every Saturday at 330 outside the with lodge. Ski Drop off super easy. It is at the foot of the ski school literally. Plus, there are at least 2 people manning the area so all cars pulling inout are managed very well. The Sugarbush ambassadors that are everywhere willing to answer any question you have whether it is the easiest way down the mountain, or which trails have been groomed or where is the rest room. They are there for you. The owner Win Smith being omnipresent. He was everywhere, every weekend with his dog Rumble. He is accessible and you felt that. Regarding the cost factor, we thought that it was great that our season passes included our children Every Adult 7 Pass comes with a FREE 12andunder dependent pass which makes it pretty reasonable when you do the math. And when we had friends come up, it was nice to be able to purchase tickets for them at one of several outlets around town and get the 70 discounted offsite tickets."
