Paint Your Family Portrait

Kids Art Workshop (2nd–6th Grade)

10:30am–2:30pm $140 per child

A guided art experience where kids turn a photo of their own family into a painted portrait on canvas.

In this 4-hour workshop, students will learn how to break a photo into simple shapes, sketch their composition, and build it into a finished acrylic painting step by step. The focus is on creativity, confidence, and learning real painting techniques in a supportive studio environment.

Each child should bring a printed or digital photo of their family, along with a packed lunch.

We’ll take a mid-session lunch break for eating, resting, and resetting before returning to finish details and add personal touches to each painting.

By the end of the day, every student will leave with a completed family portrait painting they created themselves.

You’ll leave with:

A finished acrylic painting on canvas

New painting skills and confidence

A meaningful, personal artwork to keep or gift

All materials included. No experience necessary. Limited to small groups for individual attention and a calm studio environment
