We've just completed our move to the Church Street Marketplace and can't wait to share our beautiful new location with all of you!

Elephant and Piggie will be joining the festivities from 11am-1pm. Be sure to stop by for special photo op with these beloved characters while they are visiting us!

Also a number of our local authors will be on hand for meet & greets throughout the day! Please check the schedule below to see who will be visiting and when!

"We love Phoenix Books. Its one of our favorite locally owned stores. They have an amazing selection of books, gifts, and childrens items. The staff is so nice and friendly. They do awesome family and kids events. My children love going there. Since COVID began their in store precautions have been great. They offer curbside pick up. They also have a program where you pay a small amount of money up front and then save 20 on all purchases for a year. We have definitely gotten our moneys worth! Highly recommend. Especially their Essex location."

"Our whole family loves Phoenix Books. We find the membership very worthwhile, because it's always the first place we go to shop for gifts and cards. The book selection is great, and if they don't have it, it's easy to order books or get them sent from another store. The staff are all friendly and helpful. And there's so much more than books I love all the interesting eclectic other items, in all price ranges. I always find gifts I never would have thought of if I were shopping online. Phoenix Books is a gem."

"Phoenix Books has been a go to. Their staff are incredibly helpful at finding the right book for the right occasion or gift. After the COVID shutdown, I was still concerned about going shopping in public. They listed a number of books in stock that matched what I was looking for, told me what each book was about and then checked me out. I had quick curbside pick up! If you need a book or unique gifts, see the staff at Phoenix. "
