Poultney Independence Day Celebration

In 2024, the Poultney Independence Day Parade will happen on July 4th with events on the Bhakta Campus immediately following. Fireworks & Family Fun on the grounds of the Poultney Elementary School are scheduled for the afternoon and evening of July 5th (Rain Date is July 7th). The Lake St. Catherine Boat Parade takes place on Saturday July 6th.

It will be a days long celebration in Poultney.

7/4 Parade

• Don’t miss the community breakfast at the Poultney Methodist Church from 7:30 - 9:30.
• Parade kick-off is at 10:00 in East Poultney. Details on line-up are in the Parade Registration Form below.
• Keep an eye out for the F-35 Flyover from the US Air Force! Show your appreciation on social media with hashtag #AFFlyover

7/4 Bhakta Campus

• Tom Joyce Magic Show Performance at 12:00
• Enerjazz Big Band Concert
• Pelletier’s Maple (fried dough, wrap and sub sandwiches, burgers and milkshakes)
• Butler’s Freaky Fries
• Bhakta Spirits Pop-up Retail Booth
• Lemonade and Hot Dog Stand fundraiser for Green Mountain Community School
• Bounce house for the kiddos
