"We come all the way from Franklin County because of the kid-friendly pools!"

"My girls love this pool! It is always very clean and it's one of the few places kids can use a diving board! The lifeguards are very attentive- which all moms will be thankful for!!"

"The pool is very nice however every time I have gone it was way over crowded. The kids didn't mind of course but it made me uncomfortable. The park however is wonderful we really loved it."

"We had Soooo much fun here! My 4 year old rode her bike around the mt. bike area. My 2 year old loved the smallest slide & swing. And we all had a blast at the wading pool and slide area (which was $14.00 for the 3 of us). There were larger climbing areas, slides and playgrounds for older kids. We snacked at one of the many picnic tables (which were covered!), bought hot dogs and juices at the snack bar and then watched the 'big' kids in the skateboard area. We stayed here all day. I wish we lived closer, we'd come more often!"

"This is my favorite park in this area. It's huge, and there's tons to do! There are tennis courts, a pool, playground, and awesome climbing structure, skate park, basketball courts, bike park, soccer and baseball fields, along with picnic areas and bbq pits. This park is so big that even when there's lots of people there, it doesn't feel crowded. The only bad thing is if you are going just to walk around and are pushing a stroller. There aren't really paths, other than the ones at the entrance, so you have to walk/push through grass. But, that's really not a significant downside. I've only been in the pool with my son for swim lessons, so I've never experienced it with it all packed with kids, but I have nothing to complain about regarding the actual pool, facilities or staff. It does look like it gets a little crowded on warm afternoons, though."

"We only went here once last summer and had a very negative experience. The chlorine was so high, our eyes stung for multiple days after and our suits were bleached beyond recognition. My suit literally turned an entirely different color by the end of the day. It was extremely packed and I was wondering how on earth they could safely have that many people in a pool all at the same time. It could be a decent place to go if the crowds were smaller and the chlorine levels were fixed, but not a chance I am willing to take again anytime soon."

"We moved back to the Champlain Valley a couple months ago and now with a toddler son and we are so, so happy to have this truly amazing park a mile from our house! It's like three playgrounds in one, fields of every type and it's so shaded! My son likes to watch the skaters at the skate park or watch part of a little league game here and there too. Can't wait to get him into the pool and start lessons this summer!"

"A favorite park for our family. The pool is so much fun, with the water slide and fountains. We sign our daughter up for the swimming classes every summer. The playground is huge, and always successful in tiring our child out from all the playing and running around. The parking is ample, and there is much for all the family to do."

"This park is fabulous for all ages. It has great climbing structures and a good mix of 'older kid' climbing things and 'younger kid' climbing things. It has lots of shade and tables. The pool part we visited only for swimming lessons. The swimming lessons held there are FABULOUS. Annie and the Learning Pool folks are GREAT. I cannot speak highly enough of her. Take swimming lessons from Annie. You won't regret it."

"We love Maple street Park. It's been our favorite park this summer, due to the shaded areas and the variety of play structures. We always have a wonderful time at the park. I can't give this review 5 stars however, because I find the pool safety to be a bit lacking. My non swimmer loves the shallow kiddie area, but we have found that rules are often not enforced and inconsistent, and a lot of unsafe behavior takes place."

"I was looking for pictures of the maple street pool because I am going today and I have never went there before and my bro went there yesterday and said jumping off the high dive is scary so I wanted to see it before I start telling my friends that I am going to jump off the high dive. I think this website is cool and you can search for pretty much any thing and find it."

"This park is spectacular. It has a lot of things to try. But beware of the pool, it is not safe for many people."

"When I think of the perfect park this is the one that comes to mind. Maple Street has it all! There is a very large shaded area with plenty of smaller play structures for young children like a single slide, a ground level climb-through tube, a lower play-system, a digger, a see-saw, and toddler swings. Also in the shade there is a very large climbing dome for older kids. Taking center stage in the sunshine, there is a much larger playground with a rock wall, bridge and twirly slide. This is adjacent to the large covered picnic area. Nearby is a concession stand as well. In the far corner, there is a large skate park with a quarter pipe, funbox, rails and boxes. It is free to use. For sports enthusiasts there are baseball, soccer, and football fields, as well as two tennis courts and basketball courts. There is a 3rd smaller play structure down by one of the fields in the event that one kid is there for a game and some of your other children are just there to 'watch'. In the summer months the pool is open. You can get a season pass or just pop in for the day. One side of the pool is super shallow so little kids can just wade in and play in the water. On the other side they offer swim lessons."

"I took my 15 month old daughter to the park, what an amazing little wonderland!! Must be the best park in the Burlington area with a ton of shade for those hot sunny days. There must of been 4-5 different play structures-some that cater specifically to your young ones which I appreciate. Plenty of swings (infant and adult), a great covered picnic area, concession stand and a huge skate park. The pool looks fantastic with a beach style/gradual swim area for your young ones. Very clean and the staff is very friendly-definitely worth a visit!"

"We had a great time at the Maple St Park on Saturday. Shallow pool for kids (or timid swimmers); water slide; playground; skate park; & fields! Snack bar & reasonably priced, lifeguards everywhere, and clean! Residents of Essex Junction are fortunate to have this great resource! Non residents are welcome too!"

"My preschool-age son is taking swimming lessons at Maple St. pool for the first time, and the staff has been friendly and engaging. The facilities are fun for kids (shallow pool, water slide and mushroom waterfall) and well maintained. There is also a lap pool for adults. A major plus is having the playground right there - could be a whole day outing!"
