Read to a Dog @ Essex Free Library

Spend some time reading to Chewy, a three-year-old Golden Retriever and registered therapy dog. Kids and families can sign up for a 15 minute slot and choose a book to read to Chewy and his human, Cindy Turcotte, in our community room. Six time slots are available, and a waitlist is also available for any cancellations. If you sign up and find you cannot attend, please reach out to library staff to let us know so we can accommodate folks on the waitlist. If you are not here within five minutes after the start time of your slot, we will offer the time to other patrons in the library.
