Rock Point School will host its annual Arts Festival on March 27 and 28, 2026, a two-day celebration highlighting original student work in visual art, digital media, creative writing, and theater. The showcase is free and open to the public.
“Each year, we are proud to open our doors and celebrate the creativity of our students,” said C.J. Spirito, Head of School at Rock Point School. “The arts are an essential part of a Rock Point education. They give students space to express themselves, think creatively, and build confidence through meaningful work.”
The festival begins Friday evening with a campus-wide student art exhibition featuring visual and digital artwork displayed throughout the school. Student artists will be present to discuss their creative process and inspiration. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
Art Show Friday, March 27, from 5:00 - 7:00
Come to our annual Art Show opening at RPS! Wander the school and see the amazing art our students have produced in class this year, enjoy some delicious snacks, and chat with our artists about their work! The show will be up for the entire weekend for visitors to enjoy, but don't miss the snacks at Friday's opening.
School Play Saturday, March 28, from 6:00 - 7:30
You're invited to enjoy student-written ten-minute plays performed in the library on Saturday evening. Each year, we work with the Vermont Young Playwrights' Project to learn about how to write a ten-minute play, and this performance showcases the fruits of our labor. Students do all the writing, acting, sets, and costumes for this show!

- February 14, 2013"Rock Point School Parent Recommendation A Rock Point education is a gift. Our son attended Rock Point School for four years and we will never forget the person who told us about this place called Rock Point. The school has a deep sense of tradition and humanistic values that shine through every class, interaction, activity, and conversation. It is a place where they will know your child. Your child will receive intense caring, tolerance, love, and deep learning through unique experiences in an environment that is safe in every way its possible to be. Each student is treasured for who they are and celebrated by a caring group of phenomenal teachers and staff. They are taught to think deeply about the world around them and their own ability to change that world. They are challenged to grow physically, intellectually and emotionally. Rock Point staff fostered this growth in our son with unwavering support both when he was doing well and when he was struggling. They gave him a fine education in small nurturing community in an ideal physical location where he could learn to be the altruistic, worldly, and ethical man he is today. We will never be able to thank them enough. Joan McGuire jmcguirecssu.org "- Joan McGuire
