Let's learn about tails! Caregivers and children 3-5 are invited for an hour of farm adventure, where you’ll explore the farm, meet different animals, and learn what makes each tail unique! Through stories, songs, poetry, and sensory exploration, children will build early literacy skills while engaging with the sights, sounds, and textures of the farm. Enjoy a movement-rich, interactive experience with Sensory Story Hour. Registration is $12/child including one adult or $10/Billings Farm member child including one adult. A local Vermont snack will be provided, and advance registration is recommended.

"Billings Farm combines the history of Vermont Farming with live farm animals. It is great place to visit with kids to learn about farm life. It doesn't hurt that there are plenty of animals for kids to see and touch.

Be sure to check the daily schedule of activities. You can milk a cow, tour the gardens, check out the chickens and more. There are also regularly scheduled special events throughout the year.

There is a great museum store with lots of kids farming toys, books and more. Adjacent to the 1980's Farm House you will find the Dairy Bar offers ice cream and other snacks.

Worth noting, Billings is so close to the town of Woodstock you can easily visit both in one day. There are lots of shops and restaurants in town."
