Children ages 6-10 code with Legos and Scratch. Along the way they will grow more comfortable with the iterative nature of the design process, which involves experimenting, failing, and trying again. This program could be a good fit if you have a creative kid who loves solving puzzles.

Registration is required and coming soon. Space is limited to 10 children, please sign up only if you can commit to coming to both sessions on 5/1 and 5/8. Lego Robotics programming is possible thanks to the support of the Brownell Library Foundation and the Al Bergendahl Fund.

"Quaint library with super welcoming and helpful staff. Despite this library being on the smaller side they have a great kids area with thoughtful resources and an easy pick up area for those times you just need to quickly grab learning materials!"

"Fantastic Library in the heart of Essex Junction! Walking distance to the train, bus station, five corners farmer's market, Summit Street School and (soon-to-be) Summit Community Natural Playground and more! Lots of great activities and selections for all! Kat is the best in the youth department! Brownell Library has done a marvelous job connecting itself to the surrounding community!"
