"I had always seen this place from the highway and finally took my dogs this morning. What a wonderful place to hike or just walk leisurely. Well groomed trails crisscross throughout the mountain so there is both sun and shade. Dogs loved it! I loved it! And THANK YOU to Hard'ack Recreation people who maintain it."

"I agree with missmagpie! Hard'ack has something for everyone! Large hills for us big kids, small hills for the kiddies, and fun activities for those wanting to partake in more exciting and adventurous activities such as snowboarding, etc. Great place for winter fun! "

"What a great place to enjoy all of your favorite winter activities. Whether the little ones want to slide down some of the small bumpy hills, your teens watch or partake in some of the impromptu rail jam competitions, or momdad take a fast and furious run down the sledding hill, there is something for everyone. The hills are groomed to perfection and there is even snow making! And when everyone needs a break, just jump into the warming hut for some hot chocolate 75 cents or warm snacks like a hot dog 1.50. And if you forget some hand warmers they have them too. This is a great way to spend a few hours with the family and enjoy the outdoors in the winter. Access to Hard'Ack is free, but they sure do appreciate donations to keep this northern Vermont gem alive and kickin'."
