The Intervale Center is excited to announce the return of Summervale, a free summer festival in celebration of community and local food, featuring live music and family-friendly activities at the historic farmstead in the Intervale.
Summervale is a jam-packed, family-friendly, one-day festival on Saturday, July 18th from 4-8pm. Summervale supports the Intervale Center’s mission to strengthen community food systems by connecting people to fresh, local food, featuring values-aligned organizations and food producers, and centering joy and community in our food system.
Attendees can listen to local bands, including Hot Pickin’ Party, Delta Sweet Duo, Sabouyouma, Diamond, and Hammydown. For the complete schedule, visit: Intervale.org/summervale. The schedule will continue to be updated leading up to the event.
Food and drink will be available for purchase by some of Burlington’s favorite local vendors, including Skinny Pancake, Maharaja Spice, Taste of Abyssinia, American Flatbread, The Pinery, and Lu Lu Ice Cream. Summervale will offer activities for the whole family, including a community tree planting, e-bike demos, educational activities, food tastings, lawn games, raffle prizes, and more.
Summervale is made possible with generous support from sponsors: City Market, Twincraft Skincare, Four Seasons Dermatology, Vermont Creamery, Skirack, Patagonia Burlington, Natural Mattress Company, American Flatbread, Lake Champlain Chocolates, NOFA-VT, Zero Gravity, Burlington Electric, and SRH Law.

- November 9, 2011"A great place to ski if you live in town and don't want to drive. It's a great spot and is even groomed! Lots of options for loops. It's very flat so it's a great workout."- mpc
- January 3, 2010"A lot of fun skiing this trail right in Burlington, 30 minute walk from downtown or 10 minute drive. It's free and lightly used. The trail could use a little better marking but you can also just follow the tracks. There are no real hills, so it makes a great trail for beginners and for those who just want to open up on a straight flat. Not that there aren't any facilities, it's just the trail. So be sure to pack in your own water and aprs ski snackyou and the kidlings will be hungry. I think you can rent skis at Ski Rack downtown if you don't have any and just want to give it a try."- gahlord
