Formed in 2024, the Equinox Wind Quintet has already established itself as one of Vermont’s premier wind ensembles. The group has performed at the UVM Recital Hall in Burlington, at venues throughout the state, and live on Vermont Public Classical. Its five members share a wealth of performance experiences, from playing in the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, in pit bands, and recording movie soundtracks. The group will perform “Inspired Styles,” featuring innovative music by German composers Ludwig Van Beethoven and Paul Hindemith, and American composers William Grant Still, Vincent Persichetti and former Braintree resident Gwyneth Walker. Bring your weekend to a brilliant crescendo with Vermont’s finest classical players in the BCA Center gallery, alongside our summer exhibitions, Everything is Everything: Will Kasso Condry and Dream / Mộng : Veronica Pham. BCA's Summer in the City is made possible in part thanks to our Underwriters at the Pomerleau Family Foundation; Supporters Burlington Telecom, Myti, Soundtoys, and Lake Champlain Chocolates. Media Sponsors: Seven Days and WCAX.
