Violinists Ariel and Emma have been playing music together since they were about 5 years old in various musical settings including Vermont Suzuki Violins and the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association. Both Emma and Ariel were selected to be senior soloists with the Vermont Youth Orchestra this year, winning 2 out of 4 slots to play a concerto with the orchestra. Now graduating seniors—Ariel from Champlain Valley Union High School in Hinesburg and Emma from South Burlington High School—they will head to Williams College and Johns Hopkins University, respectively. They are excited to share a few duets at Sunday Classical, and to celebrate years of friendship, collaboration, and a shared passion for music.

Sunday Classical is a program of Summer in the City, a collaboration between BCA and Love Burlington. Summer in the City 2025 is underwritten by the WaterWheel Foundation and the Pomerleau Family Foundation. Presenting Sponsors: East Rise Credit Union and AARP.
