Enjoy A Traditional Christmas in Stowe! Friday evening Children's Lantern Parade features the magic of lighting up Main Street and donuts and cider at The Current. Saturday Santa arrives in town at noon with wagon rides, pictures with Santa, a Santa Stroll featuring Snoopy at select businesses downtown, and many other activities throughout the day. Sunday Ice Skate with Santa at the Stowe Arena!
Full schedule:
Friday, December 6th
4:30pm - 6:00pm – Children’s Lantern Parade & Tree Lighting.
Parade starts from Stowe Elementary School, with tree lighting and caroling along Main Street. The parade finishes at Stowe Free
Library to officially light lawn decorations, then children head upstairs to The Current for donuts and cider. Stop by the Stowe Historical
Museum and visit their vintage Santa collection.
5:00pm - 8:00pm – Exhibit opening party for “Searching for Vermont’s Lost Ski Areas, Part 2” at the Vermont Ski Museum.
7:00pm – Come see the play “Frozen Jr” at the Stowe Community Church.

Saturday, December 7th
8:00am - 12:00pm – Come to Brunch at Butler’s Pantry before visiting Santa.
* Children will receive a free hot cocoa “to go.”
9:00am - 3:00pm – Stowe Community Church Christmas Craft Fair and Bake Sale.
11:00am - 1:00pm –
“Sweet Treats” Santa Stroll with Snoopy throughout the Village. Visit local participating locations in Downtown
Stowe for complimentary treats from Santa. Keep an eye out for Snoopy who will be making an appearance! Participating stores:
Brenna B Interiors, Country Store on Main, Ellison Estate Vineyard, Farm Home Co., In Company, Once Upon A Time Toys,
Northwood Gallery, Stowe Area Association, Tangerine & Olive, and Von Bargen’s Jewelry.
11:00am - 1:00pm – Visit with Vermont Author Tim Hayes at Bear Pond Books as he promotes his book “Riding Home: The Power of
Horses to Heal.”
11:00am - 4:00pm – Enjoy a Hot Cocoa Tasting at Lake Champlain Chocolates.
11:30am - 12:30pm – Carolers on Main Street.
12:00pm – SANTA arrives in Stowe Village escorted by Paul Percy on his tractor and wagon.
12:00pm - 3:00pm – Photos with Santa and free samplings at Stowe Mercantile, holiday cookies at Café on Main, and free holiday
wagon rides throughout Stowe Village. (line up for rides behind Stowe Mercantile)
12:00pm - 3:00pm – Visit the Stowe Free Library porch and enjoy cookies and crafts with the library staff.
12:30pm - 1:00pm – Swinging with the Santas! Watch and join the fun of swing dancing with Just For Kicks in front of the Town Hall.
1:00pm - 3:00pm – Vermont Author George Woodard shares his holiday children’s book “The Christmas Calf” at Bear Pond Books.
1:00pm - 4:00pm – Stop by The Current for Family+ Day and enjoy art activities and more.
1:00pm - 4:00pm – Stowe Historical Museum welcomes all to visit their special Vintage Christmas exhibit while enjoying cookies.
1:00pm - 4:00pm – Holiday lunch at Cork featuring homemade eggnog and other festive treats, as well as wine tasting for adults.*
2:00pm - 4:00pm – Showing of “The Grinch” with cookies and hot cocoa at The Stowe Village Inn. Seating for 40 available.

1:30 pm - 1:45 pm – Stowe Recreation Figure Skaters Show featuring Santa at the Stowe Arena.
