Vermont Maple Festival will kick off at 12:00 Noon on April 25, 2025, with an Honor Guard presentation from The St. Albans – Vermont National Guard, National Anthem and Welcome. We will announce the winners of the Maple Photo Contest, Sappy Art Contest, Window Contest, and the 2025 Maple Festival Parade Marshal. The Agricultural Commissioner Anson Tebbetts & Mayor Tim Smith will be present to also join us for the annual Maple & Milk toast to celebrate the two largest agricultural businesses in the State.
At the Exhibit Hall you will find the Maple Syrup contest winners & display, a Maple Store, Maple Cooking Contest winners & display and Festival Merchandise. Enjoy a cup of coffee with a Maple cream frosted donut or a Maple Creemee. There will be an education display along with Maple Cooking demonstrations.
In Taylor Park enjoy a Maple Milk shake, maple cream frosted doughnuts, Maple Creemee and other maple value foods, Kids Activities and Face Painting. Friday & Saturday enjoy Creative Chainsaw Art by John, Sing along with Rockin’ Ron the Friendly at the Gazebo. A dog show on Saturday in the park for family enjoyment; Sugar house tours, a great maple pancake breakfast Saturday & Sunday! –& Yo! Joe! What a Guy! Family Entertainment of juggling and magic at the gazebo. The Youth Talent Show is on Friday night at the BFA Performing Arts Center, along with the Fiddlers Show on Saturday night.
There will be a Maple Beverage Tasting at 14th star. There is a Craft & Specialty Food Show and Antique Show. The Teen Fest will open at 10 AM on Saturday at City Hall; The annual Sap Run on Sunday; Free Main Street Stage Entertainment all weekend featuring Quality Artist’s Samantha Mae, Conniption Fits, April Cushman, “Viva Las Elvis” Elvis tribute Dan Fontaine & Memphis Sun Mafia Band.
Maple Syrup tasting at the Sugarhouse in the Park; St. Albans Historical Museum will be free & open to tour; Maple additions to the Main Street vendors food court; Maple Cotton Candy & Vermont’s renowned Sugar-on-Snow; relax in the grand old Taylor Park with a newly re-built fountain and places to picnic; a downtown of intriguing restaurants & shops; wrapping up with our annual
Parade at 12:00 NOON on Sunday with floats, bands and colorful costumed characters, talented local artist Nolan Leite on the Main Street stage after the parade. Carnival rides for the young all weekend long!
