"Whoo's That" with the Southern VT Natural History Museum

Join us on Saturday, August 10th at 2pm at the Town of Essex Memorial Hall for a special presentation by the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum. Whoo’s That? Adventures in Nature is a program designed especially for the 2024 Summer Reading Program. In this program children will meet native wildlife up-close and learn how to observe and identify them using field guides available at the library. Topics will include different styles of field guides, how to narrow down your options and how to use the field guide effectively. Museum presenters will use the live animals to discuss safe and respectful behavior around wildlife. This program is free and open to the public.
