Traditions don't happen overnight. They take time to be fully realized and recognized. But all traditions need a place to start, often within our families or small group of friends. And it's the act of passing them down to others that creates a sense of community as traditions grow over time. That's why we'd like to start a new tradition with you, by casting light through December to shine on the season we all love to share. We'll quite literally light up the entire resort with hundreds of thousands of white holiday lights, while providing many ways to have fun and connect, including fireside s'mores, live holiday music, specialty meals, and more. And if you're looking to land for a couple of nights, we've made it easy to stay and save and catch the festivities.

Every weekend through December will be a celebration of lights, holidays, and community. Start your season and set the mood against the welcoming backdrop WinterShine. Special events will be held each Saturday (December 6,13,20,27):

  • 6p at the Alice's Table Patio on Tramside - Skol, Fireworks and Lighting Ceremony. Plus free s'mores around our wood-fired fire pits.
  • A Fireworks display will happen each Saturday in December.
  • 4-7p at The Tower Bar - Live holiday music
  • The Mountain Shop retail gear outlet will stay open until 6pm.
  • Miso Ramen will be open until 7pm.
  • Sessions Food Truck will be open until 7pm.
  • The Foundry will have food and drink specials.

"We went to the pump house at Jay peak. This place is great, we have gone once in the summer and once in the winter. I enjoyed the summer experience much better as they open the entire roof and let's in all the Vermont fresh air. In the winter it was so hot and was not as enjoyable. They price is a little high but if its only something you do once a year it's worth it. We packed a lunch the second time we want it it was perfect."
