Join local Vergennes author, Angela Kunkel, as she shares her newest picture book, Snow Geese Season. This locally centered tale tells the story of “a boy caught between two homes, who finds peace and belonging with his grandfather and the snow geese that return each year.” Coinciding with the migration of snow geese from Addison County to their winter homes, this reading will allow youth to connect with their surroundings. Following the reading, there will be a youth-oriented craft, in which kids can make their own binoculars so that they, like the characters in the book, can watch snow geese season unfold before them.
