Art Play @ The Current

Explore the joy of creating with your little one in Art Play at The Current! Focused on process-based artmaking and sensory exploration, Art Play is a weekly drop-in class for children aged 1-4 accompanied by a caregiver. An important part of any child’s early education journey, process-based art enhances creativity and self-expression, improves fine and gross motor skills, and encourages sensory and spatial exploration.

During Art Play, staff from The Current work with caregivers to empower children to make their own, self-directed art using The Current’s wide range of art supplies. With rotating stations and new materials each week, there’s always something new to try at Art Play.
