Bring Your Young Explorers to Rock Point’s New Trailside Visitor Center!

Rock Point Commons (www.rockpointvt.org) invites you to the Opening Celebration of Rock Point’s new trailside visitor center this Saturday, January 24th from 10am–2pm at 20 Rock Point Road. For this special event, parking will be available right outside the Center.*

Planning a family hike at Rock Point? This is the perfect way to anchor your adventure! Wander the trails with your young explorers, then step inside to warm up with a cup of hot cocoa, sink into a cozy spot, and watch winter birds at the feeders. Kids can explore hands-on exhibits, discover the stories of the land, and learn a little about the natural history of Rock Point and Burlington.

Rock Point Center for Nature & Spirituality is a welcoming place for curiosity, learning, and connection. The Center features permanent and seasonal exhibits—including local wildlife taxidermy, the geologic story of the Champlain Thrust Fault, winter tree identification, and more. An adjoining room offers a peaceful space for quiet reflection, reading, or simply watching birds together through the windows.

Keep an eye on our calendar (www.rockpointvt.org/calendar) for upcoming family-friendly programs, including free Saturday morning bird walks (coming soon!).

Regular Hours after the Opening:
