Join us for a fun, Thanksgiving-themed adventure at our Turkey Trouble Literacy Lab! A mischievous turkey has taken over — he’s hiding letters, making turkey tracks, and turning every corner of the lab into an alphabet adventure. Perfect for kids ages 3-6, this two-hour, drop-in event (from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM) is all about making memories and having fun together. Drop by anytime, stay as long as you like, and enjoy this special time with your little one. Admission is by donation—don’t miss the gobble-worthy fun!
About VLN’s Literacy Labs:
At the Vermont Literacy Network, our literacy labs are all about helping young children fall in love with reading and learning! Each session invites you and your child to explore hands-on activities that make letters and sounds come to life. With fun, interactive centers that cover all parts of literacy, you’ll discover new strategies, receive helpful resources, and feel inspired to support your child’s journey at home. Join us to share in these joyful moments, watch your child’s confidence grow, and build lasting memories together in a warm, supportive space!
RSVPs & Donations:
This is a by-donation event. We’d love for you to RSVP to help us plan a wonderful day! Donations are welcome online when you register, or at the door if you drop in—everyone is welcome! Every donation, big or small, helps us keep free programs like this possible for our community. If you're interested in supporting further, 100% of purchases from our merchandise collection go directly toward funding our free and by-donation events like our literacy labs.
Mark your calendar for the Turkey Trouble Literacy Lab and figure out what the mischievous turkey is up to! We can't wait to see you there!
